About Us

New Grounds Cafe has been the place to connect now for over 15 years. It all started when God placed a burden on the hearts of a few local men to meet the needs of the youth in the area. At that time there were very few places open past 5 pm where youth could connect with their friends, let alone in a positive environment. After a time of praying and sharing the vision the cafe opened, in time for Thanksgiving 2003, in the old Walnut Creek Cheese location.

Since then we have experienced God’s faithfulness in providing many opportunities to share the gospel and be a light to those who come in our doors. He’s also always given us what we need to continue serving our community and its young people.
